I have played with uninstall/install and all the other options & they all work just fine. They are only recommending that you uninstall & reinstall the offending plugin. Reach out to Waves Tech Support and they recommend uninstalling and reinstalling (no shit.) I'm pretty pissed as I have to find workarounds and different combinations just to get a session complete.
It took me an hour the other day trying to open a Logic project to try to save the audio files. Reaper seems to handle those handful of plugins fine, but then I add a V12 plugin, and it just crashes.
In Logic it won't even load a handful of V10 plugins. Last week I purchased the Scheps Omni Channel which is a V12. So I've been using a bunch of V10 plugins for the last few years on Reaper and Logic on Mac, and just Reaper on PC.
